Activities
This trip's physical activity is rated Low. Everyone should be capable of walking between 1-3 miles carrying a water bottle or backpack weighing less than 5lbs. At higher elevations, it is common to become short of breath walking.
Your comfort level is our priority so we cater our route, destinations and plans based on your group(all adults, adults+kids, etc). Our guides will personally call you after booking to outline and cover these important details of your group to ensure everyone has an amazing trip. There is no such thing as 1 size fits all excursions, so our focus is on personalization.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
What’s Included:
Your tour includes a certified and professional wilderness guide, walkie talkies, satellite communication devices in case of an emergency, snacks, water, rain ponchos, medical kit, reservation and timed-entry permit fees, backpacks, headlamps(if needed), binoculars for wildlife viewing, as well as group and candid photography. Of course, no adventure is complete without a few dad jokes to keep the mood light! We brew fresh coffee/tea at our halfway point on every trip, and hot chocolate if requested.
After booking, we’ll connect via phone or email to discuss your desires—whether it’s focusing on wildlife, capturing an awesome group photo, or summiting a mountain.
Fees Covered:
The RMNP vehicle entrance fee ($30) AND the park timed entry fee needed in the summer are both included.
WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING
- Hat
- +62oz water bottle(Nalgene/Hydroflask/Yeti) or Camelbak bladder
- Water in your water bottle
- Hiking boots or supportive shoes(no open toe sandals)
- Long sleeve lightweight tops
- Pants - lightweight; not jeans(optional)
- Fleece jacket or insulated vest
- Beanie(optional)
- Lightweight winter gloves(optional)
- Rain jacket or poncho
- Medications needed
- Personal camera equipment

We start our excursions on time in rain, shine, snow or sleet. Please call 24hrs in advance if you are concerned about the weather, and want to reschedule.
