965 Weddings a Year: The Numbers Behind a New Partnership

Visit Estes Park is betting on partnerships to shape sustainable tourism, with new formal agreements with the Estes Arts District and the Estes Park Wedding Association announced in March 2026.

Thomas Pemberton, president of the Estes Park Wedding Association, helped drive the wedding partnership, which focuses on sharing approved photo and video assets, building a common digital asset platform, and coordinating promotion at trade shows and industry events. He became president of the association in October 2025 and has worked to quantify the local wedding economy, estimating 965 weddings a year across 12 venues, about 96,500 attendees, roughly 32,166 overnight visitors, and more than 46 million dollars in direct wedding spending.

"The wedding industry isn't faltering, especially when you consider booking is almost two years out with most of these venues," he said.
